portfolio of ceramics and pottery work
My portfolio engages with wide-ranging ceramic and pottery elements; both traditional and designed. I'm currently exploring ceramics and landscape through the Seasons collection, whose ranges also engage with the more traditional process-based making ideologies of Heritage Pottery. While designed, this collection has a stronger traditional element and it was initially inspired by my work with Melting Snow.
Seasons is also made alongside the Sea and Sky collection which is a good example of my approach to Designed Ceramics (where, incidentally, you'll also find details about the work I undertook on my MA and other work I've concerned myself with in the studio).
I've recently begun a ceramics-related PhD, so I happily anticipate further developments in my practice as a result of this. Follow the links to the left, or below, to explore the collections further.
