Ceramic Review, Issue 277 January/February 2016, reviewed the ‘Emmanuel Cooper: Connections & Contrasts’ book that I edited for the Leach Pottery’s 2015 Emmanuel Cooper exhibition. The book begins with a foreword by Edmund de Waal. Then follows an essay by Professor Simon Olding before concluding with a chapter that surveys items from the Emmanuel Cooper Archive. A range of Emmanuel’s work, from his later years, is also presented alongside a photographic portrait of Emmanuel in his absence. The book was described by Ceramic Review as a:

slender but beautifully produced tome

I made a concerted effort to try and produce a book that was crafted in a way that would be appreciated by the reader, so thank you Ceramic Review.
