Convenient Studio Location, within a 5 minute drive of J38 of the M1,
on the border of South and West Yorkshire,
I offer a range of studio services for ceramists and potters.
If you need somewhere to work for a few hours or days a week, with facilities that include benching, shelving, wheels and basic tools, then this could be the solution. See my Courses to view and buy some of the available arrangements.
Four electric kilns are also available for hire, ranging from 2 to 29sq ft, and can either be used in their entirety or simply on the basis of an area of shelving.
Additional facilities are also available: spray booth and compressor, blunger, glaze mixer, extruder, and pugmills. There is also an extensive range of materials for use at the studio.
Clays available usually include Potclays earthenware/terracotta, Valentine's black and porcelain paper clay, and WJ Doble's stoneware body. Most materials from china clay to feldspars, fluxes, and oxides, are also available to facilitate the creation of your own glazes and clays.
